- Ensuring that the charity complies with charity law, with the requirements of the regulator – the Charity Commission – and with any other laws and regulations that may apply.
- Ensuring that the charity prepares reports on what it has achieved and an annual report and accounts (as required by law).
- Acting with integrity, and avoiding any personal conflicts of interest or misuse of charity funds or assets.
